Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By contacting Huntington Concrete Company, requesting a quote, signing an estimate, or engaging our services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not engage our services. These terms apply to all work performed by Huntington Concrete Company for residential and commercial customers.
Huntington Concrete Company provides concrete contracting services, including but not limited to: concrete driveway building, concrete patio construction, stamped concrete, concrete sidewalk building, garage floor concrete, decorative concrete, concrete retaining walls, concrete floor installation, concrete pool decks, concrete steps construction, slab foundation building, foundation installation, concrete parking lot building, concrete footings, foundation raising, and concrete cutting.
We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion. All services are subject to site conditions, material availability, permit requirements, and seasonal scheduling limitations. We serve customers in Huntington, WV and surrounding communities. Services outside our standard service area may be subject to additional fees or may not be available.
All estimates are provided in writing after an on-site assessment. Verbal estimates or ballpark figures discussed before a site visit are not binding. A written estimate is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued, after which material and labor prices may change.
The price in your written estimate reflects the scope of work described in that document. If site conditions reveal unforeseen circumstances - such as a compromised base, underground obstacles, or additional excavation needs - that change the scope of work, we will notify you before proceeding and provide a revised written estimate.
We do not add hidden fees. Any change to the original scope must be agreed upon in writing by both parties before additional work proceeds.
Project start dates are scheduled based on crew availability, permit approval timelines, and weather conditions. We will confirm your scheduled start date once a signed estimate and any required deposit have been received.
Weather delays are common in concrete work. Concrete cannot be poured in rain, extreme cold (below 40 degrees Fahrenheit), or extreme heat that could cause premature curing. If weather prevents work from proceeding on a scheduled date, we will contact you to reschedule at no additional charge.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start date. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a rescheduling fee to cover mobilization costs already incurred.
We reserve the right to reschedule any project due to crew illness, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every reasonable effort to notify you promptly and find a mutually agreeable alternative date.
Payment terms are outlined in your written estimate. Larger projects may require a deposit before work begins and a progress payment at defined milestones, with the balance due upon completion. Smaller projects may require payment in full upon completion.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of your estimate. Invoices not paid within the terms specified are subject to a late fee as stated on the invoice.
If payment is not received within 30 days of the invoice due date, we reserve the right to pursue collection through appropriate legal channels. The customer is responsible for any collection costs, including reasonable attorney fees, incurred as a result of non-payment.
Where required by local ordinance, we will apply for and obtain the necessary building permits before work begins. Permit fees, if not included in your written estimate, will be listed as a separate line item. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible and that any HOA or deed restrictions that may affect the project have been reviewed before work begins.
We perform all work in accordance with applicable local codes. If a permit inspection is required, we will coordinate with the relevant authority to schedule it. We are not responsible for delays caused by the permitting authority.
You agree to:
We stand behind our workmanship. Any specific warranty terms applicable to your project will be stated in your written estimate.
Hairline cracks in concrete are normal and expected over time, particularly in climates with freeze-thaw cycles such as Huntington, WV. Normal cracking that does not affect structural integrity is not covered under workmanship warranties. Warranty claims related to cracking require an inspection to determine whether the cracking is within normal parameters or attributable to workmanship.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by: customer failure to follow care instructions, use of deicing salts or harsh chemicals on the concrete surface, damage from heavy vehicles beyond the design load, tree root intrusion, or Acts of God including flooding, earthquake, or severe storm.
Except as expressly stated in a written warranty accompanying your project, all services are provided "as is" and without any additional warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Huntington Concrete Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services we provide, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project will not exceed the amount you paid us for that project. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability - contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.
If you have a concern about our work, please contact us first. We are committed to resolving disputes directly and in good faith. Most issues can be resolved with a conversation and, if necessary, a return visit to inspect the work.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating any legal proceedings. Mediation shall take place in Huntington, WV, unless both parties agree in writing to an alternative location.
If mediation does not resolve the dispute, any legal action shall be filed in the appropriate state or federal court with jurisdiction in WV. Both parties consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Your continued engagement with our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
